What booking with Mikayla gets you

Planning a Disney trip or a cruise on your own can mean hours of comparing dates, rooms, tickets, and offers. Mikayla uses her travel knowledge and agent booking tools to take on that work with you, and the payoff shows up in three places: your evenings at home, your days on the trip, and your budget.

Save hours of valuable vacation time and vacation planning

Time saved shows up twice: in the parks, where small decisions shape every day, and at home, where planning on your own can take over your evenings. Mikayla helps with both.

  • Better ride order Each park day planned around your family’s must-dos, so less of it goes to waiting in line.

  • Smart Lightning Lane decisions Whether Disney’s optional Lightning Lane passes are worth buying for your days, and where to use them.

  • Less backtracking A sensible route through each park, so you aren’t crisscrossing it all day.

  • Research and booking handled Mikayla compares dates, places to stay, and options, then coordinates the bookings and follows up on your questions.

More time together, on the trip and before it.

Potentially thousands of dollars saved

On a bigger trip, the right choices can add up to thousands of dollars, and Mikayla helps you make them before you book.

  • Suitable dates Travel dates that fit your family and your budget, with the trade-offs explained.

  • Eligible offers Published promotions you qualify for, and whether they fit your plans.

  • The right resort or stateroom What your family needs, without paying for what it doesn’t.

  • Appropriate tickets Park tickets and options that match how you’ll really use them.

  • No unnecessary extras Skip add-ons that won’t add much for your family.

Savings vary from trip to trip.

Hours back at home: the work Mikayla takes on

Time you don’t spend researching is time with your family. Switch views to compare.

With Mikayla: she takes on all eight with you.

  • Comparing travel dates

On your own: Check prices and crowd levels week by week, one website at a time.

With Mikayla: She compares date options against your budget and priorities and explains the trade-offs.

  • Resorts, rooms, and staterooms

On your own: Sort through room types, locations, views, and stateroom categories.

With Mikayla: She narrows the field to a few good fits for your family and budget.

  • What’s included

On your own: Read the fine print on what each fare, package, or resort covers.

With Mikayla: She lays out what’s included and what costs extra, so there are fewer surprises.

  • What’s actually bookable

On your own: Find out which options are still available for your dates.

With Mikayla: She checks what’s bookable for your dates with her travel agent booking tools.

  • Offers you qualify for

On your own: Hunt for promotions and work out who qualifies.

With Mikayla: She looks for published offers that fit your trip and checks whether you qualify.

  • Pacing the itinerary

On your own: Work out park days, travel days, rest breaks, and ride order.

With Mikayla: She helps you pace each day, plan ride order, and decide when Lightning Lane is worth it.

  • Skipping unnecessary extras

On your own: Guess which add-ons are worth the money.

With Mikayla: She helps you skip extras that won’t add much for your family.

  • Coordinating the bookings

On your own: Keep track of choices, confirmations, and next steps.

With Mikayla: She coordinates the decisions and bookings and follows up on your questions.

Find the trip that fits your family

Mikayla’s focus is Disney, on land and at sea, and she also helps with other cruise lines and all-inclusive resorts. Pick what matters to your family to see where to start.

What matters most to your family? (choose any)

Where to start

Choose a few priorities and you’ll see which trips fit best, and why.

Suggestions come from our planning notes, not live prices or availability.

Disney vacations

Walt Disney World Resort in Florida and Disneyland Resort in California

A Disney trip comes with a lot of choices. Mikayla helps you weigh them against your family’s priorities and budget, so the plan fits the way you like to travel.

A good fit if

  • You want the full Disney park experience
  • Your crew loves characters, shows, and rides
  • You like having a plan for each day

Where Mikayla adds value

  • Dates, park days, and tickets that fit how you’ll really use them
  • Comparing resort hotels and room types
  • Ride order and when Lightning Lane passes are worth buying
  • Pacing the days for little ones and first-timers

Disney cruises

Choosing a Disney cruise means comparing itineraries, sailing lengths, ships, and stateroom types. Mikayla helps you match those choices to your dates, your budget, and the kind of trip your family wants.

Where Mikayla adds value

  • Comparing itineraries, ships, and sailing lengths
  • Stateroom types, from inside to verandah
  • Published offers you qualify for
  • What the fare covers and what costs extra

Other cruise lines

Not set on Disney? Mikayla can help you compare other cruises for your family, including what each fare covers and which sailings fit your dates.

All-inclusive vacations

One price can cover a lot, but what’s included varies from resort to resort. Mikayla helps you compare what’s included, room choices, and locations, whether you’re bringing the kids or getting away as a couple.

How it works

Four steps from “we should take a trip” to a plan you feel good about.

  1. Share your wish list

Use the trip planner, or call, email, or message Mikayla with your dates, travelers, budget, and must-dos.

  2. Mikayla does the research

She compares dates, places to stay, what’s included, and offers you may qualify for.

  3. Choose from a few good fits

You get clear options and trade-offs instead of dozens of open tabs.

  4. Book and get ready

When you’re ready, Mikayla helps you book and follows up on your questions.

Then comes the fun part: your best day.

Time and savings

How does Mikayla save you planning time?

She does the research, comparing, and coordinating: travel dates, places to stay, what’s included, what’s bookable, and offers you may qualify for. You get a few clear options instead of hours of open tabs, and she handles the bookings and follows up on your questions.

How does she help you save time on the vacation itself?

By planning the details that shape each day: a better ride order, smart decisions about whether Lightning Lane passes are worth buying, and a sensible route through each park so you aren’t backtracking. Less time waiting and walking means more time for the things your family came to do.

How can savings add up?

Through choices like suitable travel dates, offers you’re eligible for, the right resort or stateroom, tickets that match how you’ll use them, and skipping extras you don’t need. On a bigger trip, those choices can potentially add up to thousands of dollars. Savings vary from trip to trip.

Are Lightning Lane passes included in my vacation?

Not automatically. They’re optional, sold separately by Disney, and prices vary; standby lines are still available. At Walt Disney World, guests at eligible hotels can buy passes earlier than other guests. That’s Disney’s rule for every guest, not an agent perk. Mikayla can help you decide whether passes are worth it for your trip.

Are the promotions only available through Mikayla?

No. The offers this website mentions are published promotions, open to every guest who qualifies. Mikayla helps you find the ones you qualify for and decide whether they truly fit your plans.

Planning with Mikayla

What kinds of trips does Mikayla help with?

Disney vacations and Disney cruises are her focus, including trips to Walt Disney World Resort and Disneyland Resort. She also helps with other cruise lines and all-inclusive vacations.

How do I get started?

Use the trip planner to put your ideas into a short summary, then email it to Mikayla or send it in a Facebook message. You can also call her at (330) 417-9177.

Does the trip planner send my answers to Mikayla?

No. The planner builds your summary right in your browser, and nothing is sent or saved. “Email my trip summary” opens your own email app with the summary filled in, and you decide whether to send it. You can also copy the summary into a Facebook message.

What should I have ready before talking with Mikayla?

Rough travel dates or how flexible you are, who’s traveling (and kids’ ages at the time of the trip), an approximate budget, and what your family cares about most. “We’re not sure yet” is a perfectly good place to start.

Can I see prices or availability on this website?

No. Prices, availability, and terms change often, and every trip is different, so they aren’t listed here. Ask Mikayla for current details for your dates.

Can Mikayla help if we’ve never done a Disney trip or a cruise?

Yes. First-timers are welcome, and the trip planner lets you say it’s your first time so Mikayla knows where to start.

Is this website run by Disney?

No. The Best Day with Mikayla J is an independent travel agent business. This website isn’t operated, sponsored, or endorsed by Disney.

Is the trip assistant available yet?

Not yet. The trip assistant is planned and pending approval, and it doesn’t have a launch date. Until then, you can ask Mikayla directly by phone, email, or Facebook.

What happens to the information I share?

This website doesn’t set cookies or run analytics, and the trip planner doesn’t send or store your answers. Anything you send by email or Facebook is handled by those services, and you choose what to include.

A traveler asks“We have a 3-year-old and a 7-year-old. Should our first Disney trip be a cruise or a park vacation?”

How the assistant is designed to respond

  1. Ask a few follow-up questions: when you’d like to travel, your budget, and how much downtime your family likes.
  2. Compare the two trip styles in plain language, using approved travel information.
  3. Leave current prices and availability to Mikayla, who confirms the details.
  4. Offer a handoff so Mikayla can take it from there.

A traveler asks“What’s usually included at an all-inclusive resort?”

How the assistant is designed to respond

  1. Explain that inclusions vary from resort to resort, and what to look for when comparing them.
  2. Ask about your must-haves, such as kids’ activities, dining, or a quiet adults-only setting.
  3. Note that a specific resort’s inclusions and current offers need Mikayla’s confirmation.
  4. Offer a handoff so Mikayla can compare real options for your dates.

A traveler asks“Can you book our trip, or change the reservation we already have?”

How the assistant is designed to respond

  1. Explain clearly that it can’t book, change, or cancel reservations.
  2. Help you put your request into a short summary you can send to Mikayla.
  3. Point you to Mikayla for booking and any changes.
